AIRBORNE JAZZ TRIO Airborne is a multi-cultural Contemporary Jazz group based from New Haven, CT.Formed in 1988 the group Airborne celebrates years of recordings, jazz festivals, gigs, and the whole ups and downs of being musicians. The members have toured Europe, Japan and across the USA. Airborne has 6 successful CD’s as of date and has received worldwide airplay and international acclaim.Their last CD – Winds of Change was released in September of 2008 and topped high in the Smooth Jazz Charts.Their next & 7th CD “New Horizons” will be released in May of 2010.Airborne was awarded a Merit of Honor by the World Peace Organization for Excellence in World Music and as Humanitarians.Airborne the proclaimed “Musical Peacemakers” of Contemporary Jazz sends out an Inspirational Message of Hope to the World.Airborne has a trademark jazz sound of Island Passion and Urban Emotion. Airborne gives one hope that Contemporary Jazz is still alive! - Joyful Jazz! Airborne is the Music and Message of Today!
