The Connecticut Community Foundation presented a grant to the Fine Arts Connection of Thomaston

on March 10, 2010 in support of its Annual Summer Concert Series

to help purchase outdoor lighting for the bands and for the safety of our patrons

Premier Jazz/Swing Band - AUGUST 9 Print

PREMIER JAZZ/SWING BAND

The Premier Jazz/Swing Band's repertoire features popular swing tunes of the 1930's to contemporary swing of today.  Dance to the music of Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Woody Herman and Benny Goodman and  listen to the vocal sounds of Carmen McCrae, Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughn. 

Instrumentation:  Sax, Trumpet, Trombone, Bass Trombone, Piano, Bass, Guitar and Drums  with optional female vocalist.
